Jeff and Erik's Rafting Trip

This is Jeff. The rafting trip was amazing! On the first day we were in a car the whole time. On the second day we took a jet boat up Hell's Canyon. We went up and down some class 5 rapids. Then on the third day we were in a car. We arrived at Stanley on the third day and went to a clinic about the trip and such. Then we went back to our three rooms and spent the night there. on the fourth day we took a bus to the top of the river. We, unfortunately, had to get into skin tight wet suits and rain suits. We started the trip. Erik was on a paddle boat with his brothers and I was on an oar boat, (rather, a sitting boat). We were all freezing the first day because we were soaked and the weather was bad. We had delicious food at every meal that day and every day on the trip. We happily made it to camp and the hot springs. We ate dinner and hung out around camp. Erik, Jared, Timm, and I went to the hot springs. On the second day we weren't as cold but still wet and we were all having fun. We reached our first class four rapid that day, Pistol Creek. I was flung out, I mean in, to the boat. We were happy to get to camp that day. We had a circle of chairs in the shade of a tree. My Grandpa started his fishing frenzy that day. Unfortunately, the biggest fish he caught he didn't have pictures of. We had delicious pecan pie that day. The next day was mostly uneventful except that we had a few big waves. At camp we had a possible small hike and Erik and I went on it. We had a great view of the camp and some mountains. We had to use a toilet called Aunt B for a reason that you would probably not like to know. Just joking. Aunt B was a lady who complained a lot about the toilets. We set off on the fourth day and saw pictographs and went to the Flying B store. Some kids threw candy to us from a bridge. At camp, we got sand in our tents. That night we had steak. On the fifth and final day we finished our Middle Fork River Tour and had an amazing breakfast and an equally amazing lunch. Grandpa bought me a long sleeved MFRT (see above) t-shirt. We took a long bus ride to our car and had milkshakes. We took our car and drove to an amazing hotel at the Spokane Airport area. On the next day we drove home and arrived at home. Jeff out.

Yeah, thanks Jeff! I guess I don't have to bug Allen as much about putting a post on my blog now. Glad you guys had fun despite the awful weather!
