Brittney Visiting
Jeff and Erik's Rafting Trip
This is Jeff. The rafting trip was amazing! On the first day we were in a car the whole time. On the second day we took a jet boat up Hell's Canyon. We went up and down some class 5 rapids. Then on the third day we were in a car. We arrived at Stanley on the third day and went to a clinic about the trip and such. Then we went back to our three rooms and spent the night there. on the fourth day we took a bus to the top of the river. We, unfortunately, had to get into skin tight wet suits and rain suits. We started the trip. Erik was on a paddle boat with his brothers and I was on an oar boat, (rather, a sitting boat). We were all freezing the first day because we were soaked and the weather was bad. We had delicious food at every meal that day and every day on the trip. We happily made it to camp and the hot springs. We ate dinner and hung out around camp. Erik, Jared, Timm, and I went to the hot springs. On the second day we weren't as cold but still wet and we were all having fun. We reached our first class four rapid that day, Pistol Creek. I was flung out, I mean in, to the boat. We were happy to get to camp that day. We had a circle of chairs in the shade of a tree. My Grandpa started his fishing frenzy that day. Unfortunately, the biggest fish he caught he didn't have pictures of. We had delicious pecan pie that day. The next day was mostly uneventful except that we had a few big waves. At camp we had a possible small hike and Erik and I went on it. We had a great view of the camp and some mountains. We had to use a toilet called Aunt B for a reason that you would probably not like to know. Just joking. Aunt B was a lady who complained a lot about the toilets. We set off on the fourth day and saw pictographs and went to the Flying B store. Some kids threw candy to us from a bridge. At camp, we got sand in our tents. That night we had steak. On the fifth and final day we finished our Middle Fork River Tour and had an amazing breakfast and an equally amazing lunch. Grandpa bought me a long sleeved MFRT (see above) t-shirt. We took a long bus ride to our car and had milkshakes. We took our car and drove to an amazing hotel at the Spokane Airport area. On the next day we drove home and arrived at home. Jeff out.

Calista's Victoria Field Trip
This was a long Wolf Eel.
This is Calista. Today mom and I went to Victoria for my school field trip. In our group was, my friend, Hannah and me. In the second picture me and Hannah were pretending to be the (I don't know if you can see it) mammoth in the background. In the first picture I was in the Royal British Columbia Museum in front of one of there old totem poles. That was called the First Peoples' Exhibit. There was an exhibit on what their old town looked like and we had to fill out two pages on the two exhibits. After we finished the museum we ate lunch. Then we went to the Undersea Gardens. In the Undersea Gardens we saw a show and we recorded the part of the show with the Wolf Eel. It was really cool! After the show we went to the candy shops. In the shops we bought chocolate, Hannah and I got ice cream, mom got Kurly Wurlies, and everyone got lemonades. While we were there, I also got ketchup chips. They were very yummy. Then we got on the Coho and went home. On the Coho we saw Ashley and the field trip was really fun.
