As promised, here are some pictures from my baby's first birthday. It happened to be on the same day we were able to go to the pumpkin patch for Carson's preschool so we had fun roaming around pumpkins and seeing baby pigs.
Ewan didn't open any of his presents curtesy of the other three children but he didn't seem to mind as he was able to play with the new toys.
This is an interesting picture to me. On their first birthdays, all three of the other kids were set on the table in only their diapers with their own cake in front of them. All three tore into that cake like it was the best tasting thing in the whole world. They had cake all over them. This is all of Ewan's cake he would eat. We even tried feeding him some of it and the result was him starting to cry. He also gave everyone crusty looks for looking at him and singing. He's a funny kid who never smiles at anyone he doesn't know and has started giving people what I have always told Brittney were her looks of death. Carson and Ewan = not people persons.

lol He sure is cute. Look at all that hair! I think he is starting to look a little more like our side of the family, though he certainly does look like Erik too.

Well what do you expect? He is the spawn on Erik!! Have you seen any pictures of him smiling until recently?!
He is so cute! My Seara (3) is definitely antisocial. Until she was two she would grunt at strangers. That or give them looks of death. Elijah (who will be two in two weeks), on the other hand, is a social butterfly and is always making friends with perfect strangers. Seriously, it cracks me up how kids are just born with their personalities!
I have to figure I picked the wrong flavor of cake and frosting. Next year, I'll make a mix!!!
